Guy from Martinsville pwned by Gov’t for warez

A guy from Martinsville was arrested in an international law enforcement raid against warez kiddies. He and seven others were charged with criminal copyright infringement for pirating movies, games, and software programs. A guy in Martinsville. MARTINSVILLE. Make sure you read the rest!

Martinsville is stereotypically portrayed as a quiet and simple town. They have a history of being somewhat backwards (at one point, they did away with zoning throughout the county which it is the seat). Their assistant police chief was quoted in Newsweek after September 11th with an anti-Islam comment. Their football team and fans got into a fight with an opposing team after racial slurs were used. (Now you understand what I mean by backwards). And they had an international warez mastermind living in their mist allll this time. Hell, I didn’t know they had broadband! (From Indianapolis Star)

….Their football team and fans got into a fight with an opposing team after racial slurs were used….

I graduated from Martinsville High School and was a student at the time of this incident you referred to. Apparently you’ve never read any of the facts of the case and you are just spewing the rumors that have always circulated about Martinsville about racism. The true story is that there was no fight whatsoever, when the Bloomington football team bus was leaving the school (after losing terribly) there was (1) mentally retarded man, that everyone knows locally and he is usually completely harmless, and he shouted (1) racial slur at the bus as it passed. A bloomington police officer (off duty) was nearby and heard it and thence pressed charges against the school even though it didn’t even happen on school property. Immediatley after, without any investigation, the state school athletics dept. cacelled all sports events for the entire school for 1 year. I have since moved from my hometown to Bloomington (home of Indiana University and also home of the opposing football team from your “racist fight” comments). Bloomington is a very liberal college town were Democrats control it all and life is supposed to be a multi-racial paradise. Well, let me tell you something, I have never seen a place with such racial tension as Bloomington, many race driven crimes happen often but the stories never seem to make it to the news headlines, it’s all swept under the rug. In the past 10 years when visiting family I have noticed a great variety of races that have moved to Martinsville and have absolutley no problem living there and making many friends.

Having lived in Bloomington for many years now, I have come to live with the fact that if you’re white there are many places in Bloomington you DO NOT GO, same for black, asian, etc…

As far as the county “doing away with zoning” LMAO, you can blame that on the minority obstructionist democrats in the local zoning board.

“Hell, I didn’t know they had broadband!”…do a little research and you would see that Martinsville has always been on the cutting edge of high speed internet technology. They have actually locally funded a BPL (Broadband over Power Lines) research project that has been in beta testing for a couple years now and will likely be the wave of the future providing ultra high connect speeds to anywhere in the USA that has electricity, hmmm backwards racist town, better get your facts straight and drop this decades old stereotyping of Martinsville, IN.

Thanks you and have a nice day,
